Origins: Lime shares many similar properties with Lemon. The essential oil has a sharp, sweet citrus peel smell and like lemon is antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial and is a good stimulating warming tonic. The oil is extracted from the peel of the unripe fruit. Limes are grown for their oil in Florida, Mexico, Italy and the West Indies.

Therapeutic Effects: Similar to Lemon. Aids poor circulation, varicose veins, arthritis, rheumatism, colds, flu and fever.
